Busy first graders

Caitlin Jordan from the Cape Farmers Alliance came for a spring visit to kick off Ag week next week. She read us Oxcart Man.
We have been working hard during reading workshop to get started right away, stay in one spot, read the whole time and read quietly.

Notice the adorable finger pointing with an elephant trunk!

On St. Patrick's Day, a leprechaun left us four-leaf clovers in our traps!

Mr. Charltray brought us a new "chatter box" for our iPads. It helps drown out background noise (yes, we have that!!!!) while kids are recording.
