Guidance with Mrs. G

Strategies for dealing with hard feelings (anger, worry, overwhelmed, stress):
1. Make a playdough monster and smush it!
2. Deep breathing (pinwheel, square breathing, lazy 8)
3. Favorite place (picture yourself there)
4. Read a book
Tonight's home work is to share these strategies with your family.  I also talked to the kids about zen coloring books that can help children and adults relax and be calm.  We copied many Mandala pictures to color at choice time.
